We had a great visit with the sailors who came for Rodeo Weekend and Military Appreciation Day.
The sailors were able to enjoy visits to M.L. Leddy's, The Best Hat Store, a special honorary lunch at The Fort Worth Rotary, meals at Little Red Wasp, Heim Barbeque, Taste Project, Joe T. Garcia's, and more. The Medal of Honor Museum and Former Secretary of the Navy Gordon England had a Celebration Dinner for the sailors. They even got to go to Billy Bob's Texas to see & meet Pat Green. And on Monday evening they were recognized at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Finally, on Tuesday The City of Fort Worth, Mayor Mattie Parker & Councilman Michael Crain presented the sailors with a Certificate of Recognition for their outstanding service & commitment to our nation.
